When where was this? I can never go to tournaments because I'm only 14, and I am always busy, except for the Thanksgiving, Christmas, Winter, and Spring vacations, and obviously in the Summer. On those days, I could go, it's just that there's never an ITG tournament in Westchester County of New York, and ironically, New York City which is not too far from Westchester, is this Earth's capitol ~not to brag or anything, it's a fact~.

Christmas used to have meaning too. Just that over the decades (not years but decades) it has become more and more commercial. You are right about the Christmas displays as opposed to the Thanksgiving displays. You have isles and isles of Christmas and lucky to have one or two about T'giving.
